Current volunteer openings:

1. Preventive Drug Education: SANA Badge Scheme

Assist in conducting workshops and talks at schools
Engage students and teachers to garner their support

Available on Weekdays (school hours)
Able to present in front of a large audience

2. Corporate Support: Administrative Support

Assist in day to day administrative duties

Available during office hours (Mon to Fri)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (eg: Microsoft word, access, excel, powerpoint etc)

3. Corporate Support: Fundraising / Events Support

Assist in pre-event preparation & actual day set-up
Man SANA’s booth by handing out flyers and sharing on SANA’s work

Available on weekends
Reliable & enthusiastic
Preferably some experience in outreach-related events

4. Corporate Support: Photography / Video Support

Record important moments in major SANA events (eg: Charity Golf, SANA Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Nite, Family Engagement Events, etc)

Possess own photographic / video equipment
Able to provide photos / videos in high resolution
Experienced in photography / videography

5. Para Counsellor: Face to Face (Step-Up Centre)

Assist visitors and clients in filling up intake forms
Enquire with clients on their presenting issues
Provide listening ear to clients
Assess and provide plan of action
Provide and guide clients with required assistance (eg. job search and resume writing)

Attend an interview and screening process
25 years & above
Able to converse in English and a 2nd language
Currently have completed or undergoing training/courses related to counselling, psychology or social work*
*Individuals who do not meet this requirement may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Able to commit minimum of 2 hours a day for 2 days per month (1 weekday & 1 weekend).

Training will be provided.

6. Para-Counsellor: Live Chat (talk2SANA)

Help youths via online chat  by
-providing information on harmful effects of drugs
-providing links to get help to quit drugs

Preferably with social work, counselling or psychology background
Able to commit for 12 months of service (exclude training)
Able to commit for at least 6 hours / week (=2 shifts / week)
-Shift one 5.30pm – 9.00pm
-Shift two 8.30pm – 12.00am

Training will be provided

7. Community Outreach Team

Conduct home visits and assess family needs
Reconcile and rekindle family bonds
Support grassroots volunteers in implementing family-centric programmes

At least 25 years old
Able to commit 6 hours a month
Available on weekday evening / weekends

Training will be provided

8. Family Care Advocate

Assist families in their televisit sessions
Engage and offer support to the families
Share on SANA’s programmes & services

At least 25 years old
Available on weekday office hours / Saturdays

9. Others: Art Work / Design

Design publicity materials to raise awareness on dangers of drugs and SANA events
Designing can be done from home o at SANA’s office

Has experience in coming up with design / creating posters for events etc
Possess own laptop for design work
