In Appreciation of Volunteers
Each year, SANA hosts the Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Nite (SANA Nite), an annual dinner and awards presentation to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our volunteers and donors. More than 200 volunteers and supporters attend the event.
SANA Nite 2019
SANA Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Nite or SANA Nite 2019 was held on 15 November to celebrate the contributions of our volunteers and donors. Twenty-five volunteers received awards and certificates of appreciation.
The event, themed Inspiring Action, was graced by Mr Christopher de Souza, Member of Parliament for Holland-Bukit Timah GRC. In his speech, Mr de Souza recalled his youth as a SANA volunteer and anti-drug ambassador and shared how everyone can play a part to create awareness on drug abuse and protect lives.
In 2020, due to the Covid-19 situation, SANA was not able to run the event, originally scheduled for October 2020.
