ACT Badge
The SANA Badge Scheme, which is now rebranded as the ACT Badge, was established in 1977 with the primary goal of raising awareness about the harms associated with substance abuse and how students, particularly within the Uniform Groups in secondary schools, can hnadle situations when faced with temptations without turning to substance abuse. This initiative has played a crucial role in educating the youths and empowering them to make informed decisions.
The ACT Badge is structured as a tier-based proficiency programme, offering students the opportunity to earn badges at three levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each tier is designed to progressively build the students’ knowledge, advocacy skills, and impact on their peers and the wider community.
